About Polsinelli PC
Polsinelli is an AmLaw 100 firm with around 900 attorneys across 21 offices. As a full-service firm, it has an especially strong reputation in practices like health care, labor and employment, real estate, and IP law.
Small Midwest Start
Polsinelli was formed in 1972 in Kansas City, MO, as a small shop servicing business and real estate clients. Since its small start, the firm has grown to over 900 attorneys in 21 offices across the country. The most recent office to join the Polsinelli fleet was its Miami location, which has a heavy emphasis on real estate and health care. The firm takes pride in providing quality client services, evidenced by its BTI Consulting ranking as a top firm for client service and relationships.
National Leaders in Health Care
Polsinelli is a leader in health care, with a robust practice backed by one of the largest concentrations of health care attorneys in the country. The firm counsels clients—from hospitals to clinical researchers to physician organizations—on all matters of health care transactions, disputes, and regulatory issues. The firm’s prowess is bolstered by its roster of attorneys, including former in-house counsel of national health care institutions, former lawyers with the Office of Inspector General, and former U.S. attorneys and assistant U.S. attorneys with experience in health care fraud investigations. In addition to the firm’s health care legal services, Polsinelli Healthcare Solutions provides consulting services to clients in the private, nonprofit, and public sectors.
Polsinelli is also renowned for its labor and employment practice, which not only has a strong litigation track record, but frequently counsels clients of all sizes on labor and employment issues. Polsinelli is similarly regarded in the real estate arena, where it navigates multi-million and billion-dollar deals at all stages from financing through development and leasing.
Polsinelli's Diversity and Inclusion Fellowship Program is one component of the firm's overall diversity and inclusion objective. Its purpose is to integrate the firm's commitment to diversity and inclusion with efforts to recruit the best diverse candidates from the nation's top law schools. The Fellowship provides annual scholarship funds, which assist with law school tuition. Among its other diversity initiatives, the firm has a regular diversity publication entitled Mosaic, which highlights the firm’s diversity efforts.
