About Otterbourg P.C.

Founded in 1909 in New York City by Edwin M. Otterbourg, Emanuel Steindler and Charles A. Houston, the firm distinguished itself from the hundreds of other Big Apple law firms by representing textile companies and assisting them to navigate the numerous insolvency cases arising at the turn of the century. As the times changed, so did the Otterbourg P.C., developing new practice areas to address the growing needs of New Yorkers. Today the firm tackles legal issues ranging from bankruptcy and complex lending transactions to estate planning.

Otterbourg’s commitment its clients hasn’t gone unnoticed. The firm was ranked in BTI Consulting’s Client Service A-Team 2015” report.
