Changes over a Century
Lane Powell’s story begins in 1875, when an attorney named William D. Fenton began practicing law at the Portland firm McCain and Fenton. Separately, in 1889, the firm’s Seattle presence was rooted when an attorney by the name of William A. Peters joined the firm Strudwick, Peter & Collins.
