About Jackson Lewis P.C.
When you know what you're good at, you stick to it. Jackson Lewis specializes in the labor and employment law arena, and, with nearly 800 attorneys and a staggering 57 offices across the country, the firm has become one of the largest providers of employment law services in the nation.
A Focus on Labor and Employment Law
Since its founding in 1958, Jackson Lewis has relentlessly pursued growth in new territory. With a presence in states from California to New York and quite a few in between, the firm has set up dozens of new offices in recent decades and continues to launch new branches in unexplored regions.
Jackson Lewis has practices running the gamut of employment law, including affirmative action and preventative counseling, and is ready to tackle issues revolving around employee benefits, sexual harassment, labor relations, immigration and substance abuse and drug testing. And with a motto of “all we do is work,” Jackson Lewis attorneys take their mandate seriously.
It seems more than a few companies are interested in enlisting the firm's labor management advice—Jackson Lewis' client list includes large corporations like IBM and Burger King. And the firm has even been able to woo titans of industry to its exclusive domain. Pharmaceutical giant Pfizer, for example, used to contract with around 50 law firms to handle its employment matters, but awarded all its employment work to Jackson Lewis after the firm agreed to cap its fees.
