Come Experience Life as an Associate
Our associates are engaged in all types of client matters and work closely with firm partners who provide guidance for your professional development. Starting with summer assignments and continuing every year after, we work hard to ensure that our associates grow personally and professionally to reach their full potential. In addition to daily feedback and interaction, we have a formal associate evaluation program, peer mentors, affinity mentors and other programs to help guide careers.
The HK Institute serves as the firm's legal training office, providing a wealth of training programs for Holland & Knight attorneys and clients, including continuing legal education (CLE) approved by state accrediting agencies. The HK Institute also maintains a library of training programs for future reference.

Giving Back to the Community
Holland & Knight is extremely proud of our record of service to the communities where we have offices. Our attorneys are committed to providing legal work to people and organizations who cannot afford counsel. Holland & Knight's Public and Charitable Service Department was created in 2009 to integrate the firm's global pro bono, community service and charitable giving initiatives within the locales where we work to make deeper investments in communities in need. Our firm is pleased to provide legal and organizational assistance to these positive forces for social change.

A Strong Women's Initiative Program
We were one of the first major law firms to organize a Women's Initiative, which pulls together lawyers and staff to focus on the development of careers and to promote the talented women here and in the law business. As part of that effort, Holland & Knight created a Rising Star program more than 20 years ago. The program identifies senior associates or newer partners for a year-long program of training, coaching, networking and engagement in law firm operations.
