About The Veterans Benefits Administration

The Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) is the benefits division of the Department of Veterans Affairs. The VBA provides benefits divided into six different categories: compensation and pension, education, vocational rehabilitation, survivors benefits, home loans, and life insurance. All of its services are based in Washington, DC, except insurance services, which are handled in Philadelphia. Another 58 Veterans Administration regional offices deliver benefits services across the country. Veterans, service members, and qualifying family members qualify for benefits under the VBA.
