“For Attorney Advisor at Office of Medicare Hearings and Appeals”
November 2015FORMER EMPLOYEE
Uppers
Predictable hours.
Flexible Schedule.
Nice judges overall.
Ability to have a life outside of work.
Downers
Pushing paper, do not really need a law degree to do the job.
Low salary-very low.
No autonomy and no room for growth.
Extremely monotonous.
Advice to Candidates
Good if you desperately want to get your foot in the door of healthcare law but the skills you learn on the job really do not transfer elsewhere. I could imagine its a decent job for working mothers given the schedule and benefits.
