About Citrus World, Inc.

Citrus World works to squeeze out pulpy profits. One of the nation's largest citrus juice sellers, the cooperative is ranked among the country's two giant brand names: PepsiCo's Tropicana and Coca-Cola's Minute Maid. Some 1,000 farmer/members across more than a dozen grower associations harvest 60,000-plus acres of citrus groves for the co-op's products. Its portfolio includes frozen concentrated and not-from-concentrate juices, such as orange, grapefruit, lemonade, apple, and fruit blends. The group's brands include Florida's Natural, Growers Pride, Bluebird, and Donald Duck, among others. Organized in 1933, it also provides juice to customers in the foodservice, retail food, and vending industries.

Geographic Reach

From its base in Lake Wales, Florida, the citrus fruit grower and distributor operates primarily from central Florida. It markets its juices worldwide (mostly in the Caribbean and the Americas) through an alliance with the state's department of agriculture and consumer services.

Sales and Marketing

Citrus World participates in the Global Grid marketing program of the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Through its association with the organization, the company markets its fruits, vegetables, and citrus juices worldwide -- particularly in the Caribbean, Central America, and South America. The push comes as exports of Florida produce to the Caribbean and Central America have reached grown.

Company Background
