About Equifax

Equifax offers consumer credit reports and other financial services, including commercial and workforce insights and solutions, and data assets and analytical insights to government agencies. Equifax was founded in 1899 by Cator and Guy Woolford, and was originally called the Retail Credit Company. In the 1960s, with offices in both the U.S. and Canada, the company became one of North America’s largest credit bureaus. In order to improve its public image, the company changed its name to Equifax in 1975, and soon after had begun to expand its operations into international markets. Equifax is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.

Individuals who wish to start or grow their careers with Equifax can choose from a variety of open positions across all of its locations. Exciting opportunities can be found in areas such as data and analytics, project management, finance, accounting, marketing, and more.

Committed to giving back, Equifax partners with organizations and offers its technology, associate volunteerism, and other assets in order to support local communities. For example, the company partners with Habitat for Humanity in order to help build and improve existing affordable housing. Equifax also partners with Urban Strategies to help underserved communities achieve stable housing as well as financial stability.
