In November 2006, Workday launched its very first product: Workday Human Capital Management. Co-founders Angel Bhusri and Dave Duffield came up with the original idea just a year before, over a diner breakfast in California. By 2015, it had grown to international heights, establishing the European HQ in Dublin, Ireland. In 2018, Workday acquired Adaptive Insights, bolstering the Business Planning Cloud planning program. And in 2019, Scout RFP was acquired by Workday, fostering the expansion of planning, executing, and analyzing in a single system that makes for optimal spend.
