About the Company

San Francisco-based Gusto was founded in 2012 by current CEO Joshua Reeves and Edward Kim, and officially launched its services the same year in California. Gusto offered the unique feature of supporting contract workers on its platform, which other payroll software companies didn’t offer at the time. This gave Gusto an early advantage and contributed to its growth. By 2015, the company announced support for all 50 states in the U.S.

Today, Gusto provides a variety of employer and payroll services, including software setup, human resources services, employee benefits, and employee time tracking. Those looking to start a career with Gusto will find openings in each of its locations in San Francisco, Denver, and Manhattan. Additionally, certain positions offer the option of working remotely.
