“It beats unemployment”

Generally nice people that work on various teams. Close to home only if you're in the burbs


Upper management doesn't give a rats a** about employees. Base pay for is embarrassingly low for an experienced sales person. They sell it by saying that potential commission is so high... One of the many lies you'll be told. Here are a few things they don't tell you...your commissions can be clawed back up to 1 year from the date of sale, that a high percentage of your deals will unravel during implementation, that the tiered commission ( rep % increases as they get closer to annual goal), varying commission percentages paid depending on product, and usage of multiple spreadsheets for pay and pricing are all set up to make it next to impossible to track what you're owed. Also you will spend lots of time each day typing word doc approval requests. It's absolutely ridiculous for a TECHNOLOGY COMPANY to use such archaic methods, when they actually have SF where pricing, commission and approval process could be automated. Getting anything done is a nightmare, as the smallest approval request could take up to 2 weeks to be addressed by management . The micromanagement is a bit much and benefits are expensive

Advice to Candidates

Let this be the last stop before pizza delivery or the welfare office. If absolutely NOTHING else comes through, take the job and be looking for another ASAP, unless of course you enjoy long frustrating workdays with little reward
