Entrust Datacard plays with a full deck of financial, identification, and security products. The company offers card printers, laminators, digital cameras, engravers, mail handlers, and software that organizations use to manage, customize, and issue personalized credit and ID cards. Sales and Marketing

Entrust Datacard sells directly and through distributors and value-added resellers such as ScanSource. Customers include US General Services Administration, NASA, Lloyds TSB, Bank of New Zealand, Expedia, Citibank, and University Hospitals Birmingham (part of the National Health Service in the UK), the government of Ghana, and Hancock Bank.

Privately held Entrust Datacard reports annual revenue of more than $600 million.


Entrust Datacard is big on alliances to extend its products and services through partners. It has teamed up with Schneider Electric, Gemalto, Infineon, and others to offer integrated products. It also joins groups such as the Cloud Security Alliance to brings it voice to developing industry standards and protocols.

Mergers and Acquisitions

Entrust Datacard acquired Trustis Limited, a managed service provider of public key infrastructure (PKI) and crypto management tools, in 2017. The acquisition strengthens Entrust Datacard's certificate-based security products and expands oits presence in Europe.
