“Great Brand; In midst of a major shift to Software”
October 2019FORMER EMPLOYEE
Uppers
The organization had a lot more lifers than I was accustomed to in Consulting.
The culture seemed flat -- you'd run into folks who report into Cisco C-level du jour, who'd still be amenable to network, get to know you, and be friendly
Downers
Politics
Quarterly cycles leave people in the dirt
Little accountability or traceability to funds raised; it's always the next moonshot whether or not the mission succeeded
There's a huge shadow workforce of Red Badges (contractors) who stay on indefinititely (i.e., some of those roles would have been Blue Badge ones)
Advice to Candidates
Do your research - it's a big place and it can be a mixed bag
