About Colony Resorts Lvh Acquisitions, LLC

Vegas, baby! Vegas! Colony Resorts LVH Acquisition is behind the famed Las Vegas Hilton, a hotel near the Strip with some 3,000 rooms and a 74,000 square-foot casino with games of chance. In addition to the casino, the hotel features more than a dozen restaurants, the Hilton Theater showroom, and a variety of wedding chapels. The Las Vegas Hilton is adjacent to the Las Vegas Convention Center, one of the largest convention facilities in the world. The hotel-casino was sold in 2012 to a joint venture between Gramercy Capital and Goldman Sachs for about $310 million.

If for nothing else, the Las Vegas Hilton is legendary for hosting Elvis Presley's comeback concerts in the 1970s, when the hotel was known as the Intercontinental. The hotel features a bronze statute of The King in its main lobby.

The Las Vegas Hilton has contemporary entertainers in spades, such as David Brenner and Wayne Newton. Singer-songwriter Barry Manilow is ensconced at the Hilton in a show, "ULTIMATE MANILOW: The Hits". The Hilton has set up The Manilow Store to sell merchandise devoted to the man who writes the songs.
