The Wisconsin-based company has been designing and manufacturing heavy-duty attachments for utility tractors, skid/steer loaders, tractors, and lawn and garden equipment since 1920. It jointly develops and markets its lineup through commercial and consumer OEMs including John Deere and Ford, in addition to serving distributors and end-users. Company Background

Amerequip was founded in 1920 as Arps Corporation by B.F. Arps and Henry Kaiser. The company manufactures snowmobile and expanded greatly requiring a plant expansion in 1926. In 1939, it developed and manufactured variety of tractor attachments including scoops, front blades, loaders, utility rear blades and bumpers. The company was acquired by Chromally American Corporation in 1963. It developed its first backhoe in 1970. In 1983, a group of investors purchased the company and Schwartz Manufacturing groups' assets and renamed as Amerequip.
