About PwC/Strategy& Summer Internship Program

PwC focuses on audit and assurance, tax, and consulting services in 16 key industries, including consumer products, fintech, life sciences, pharmaceutical, and technology. They also provide targeted services that include but aren’t limited to cybersecurity and privacy, human resources, deals, and forensics.

Summer Internship Program
At PwC, we support an inclusive culture by acknowledging the unique experiences and perspectives each individual brings to the table. Clients look to us for broad thinking and perspectives. For that, we need people of different cultures, backgrounds and experiences—as well as the cultural dexterity to work across those differences.

PwC has two internship programs, Advance and Start.

  • Advance includes professional internships for undergraduates and MBAs.
  • Start, PwC’s diversity internship experience is an introductory internship which provides participants the opportunity to learn more about professional services while developing the digital and technical skills key for success in today’s business environment.
  • All PwC interns are actively engaged in the infinite learning environment of the professional services world.
  • At the completion of the internship, interns know what is expected of them as a PwC Professional, and will have built relationships, deepened their digital skills, and had exposure to client service work in the space of professional services.

Learning at PwC is something that happens every day, all around us, with limitless possibilities. PwC will provide you with a personalized learning experience—using on-the-job training, real-time development, smart technology, and data and analytics, giving you customized access to formal and informal learning.

Client Experiences
You’ll experience unique and relevant assignments, while working directly with PwC partners, principals, and staff. Interns will practice our commitment to client service by executing responsibilities and gaining insight into the professional services sector.

Leadership Development Experience
At PwC, we are proud of the investment we make to develop, support, and foster growth in all of our people—including interns! Our integrated Leadership Development Experience (LDE) combines several key elements that result in a culture that creates leaders who build the future. You’ll engage in dialogue with a dedicated coaching team focused on guiding you through the internship experience, providing in-the-moment feedback and supporting your development as a PwC Professional.

Commitment to Well-being
Through our increased focus on well-being, we are shifting the mindset of how we work. We will provide you with the skills and knowledge to prioritize your well-being with opportunities and resources for your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health. Our people are given the ‘green light’ to talk with a trusted colleague or expert help. We offer a comprehensive set of benefits around mental health and well-being through our Be Well, Work Well initiatives, including providing free 24/7 access to a coach or therapist through a mental health app. These also include new benefits such as executive coaches that provide 1:1 and group well-being sessions, and access to meditation apps and an internal social networking community. We have also introduced racial trauma counselling in conjunction with the six actions we are taking with respect to racial justice.

Community Service
Responsible Business Leadership is our commitment to make an impact in our communities and deliver business value by helping create a more equitable society. You’ll have the opportunity to experience Responsible Business Leadership by participating in community service projects. Through our initiatives, we provide pro-bono services to nonprofits and community-oriented organizations, invest in building a more diverse workforce through Access Your Potential, focus on reducing our carbon emissions, and more!

You’ll be provided activities and virtual events—one-on-one coffee chats, group well-being activities, and social hours that will allow you to network with individuals based in your local office/markets and with individuals outside of your day-to-day team.

Impact, PwC’s Intern Festival
Impact is an experience for those with the passion and drive to move the world forward. Here, we celebrate what's next—what you have planned for yourself, for our firm, and for our communities—and explore the ideas, possibilities, and networks that will help make your plans real.
