Giving back to the community and supporting the philanthropic causes we believe in is just as important as giving back to our employees. That’s why at Friedman we promote various employee-driven donation and volunteer programs.
Friedman is committed to giving back by empowering our local communities and fostering firm-wide camaraderie through employee-inspired giving. The Friedman Gives Back Committee is comprised of passionate employees who research and recommend creative ways for their peers to get involved in various community service or charity events. Friedman has organized several events throughout its offices in New York, New Jersey, and Philadelphia.
Friedman has also established the Go Green Committee, an internal initiative committed to promoting environmental sustainability. The committee organizes several firm-wide initiatives throughout the year in an attempt to ensure we are doing all that we can to reduce our carbon footprint and impact on our Earth.
Team-based volunteer events such as the Friedman LLP Bike Team and Habitat for Humanity volunteer events allow our people to come together in a group setting to lend a hand to those in need.
An important internal program is our Women’s Development Network (WDN). WDN actively participates in volunteer activities and holds educational events for women on topics ranging from financial planning to health and wellness. It provides an opportunity for our female colleagues to network internally and externally, and to support one another in their careers.
