CRI is a top 20 national CPA firm located in 10 states across the South. The firm is rapidly expanding via organic growth as well as M&A. The firm is only 21 years old and relatively early on in its growth cycle. This presents excellent opportunities for younger CPAs to accelerate their advancement in the firm and opportunities to be a big fish in a big pond abound. The firm is entrepreneurial and values flexibility which is a must for millennials. We have remote technologies, a combined 6-8 weeks of time off (PTO/Holidays) and summer flex hours, just to name a few ways we embrace work/life balance and integration. The firm doesn't provide bonuses; however, salaries tend to be on the high end of market (thus they offer the bonus that keeps on giving). Additionally, the firm is still building its infrastructure and the firm needs more robust human capital, IT, Marketing, and Operations functions.Advice to Candidates
Public accounting can be hectic during busy season; however, the firm caps hours at 55 per week during busy season and staff are not required to work at the office outside of core business hours (meaning one can work overtime hours remotely when and where it’s most convenient).
Each office culture is unique as the firm is in the process of building a "one-firm culture." Look for offices in growing markets like Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, and New Orleans, to name a few. These offices are attracting some of the best and brightest in our industry and will no doubt be a source for future leaders within the firm over the coming years!
