The average person has approximately 12 jobs throughout the course of their careers. There's a strong probability that some of those jobs are not going to be one's ideal position. In fact, only 51 percent of Americans report that they're satisfied with their jobs. So what's there to do?

There comes a time in everyone's lives where we have to make some hard career decisions—like whether the job we have is the right one for us. Perhaps the company isn't a culture fit, or maybe you don't feel challenged in your position—there are plenty of reasons one might think of moving on.
