Dan Slater, former WSJ Law Blogger, covers a lot of ground in a guest post on the NY Times DealBook.
Slater a.) calls out the American Bar Association for its complicity in creating a saturated legal job market; b.) lauds the University of Miami law school for trying to stanch the flow of ill-informed incoming One Ls; c.) blasts law schools generally for profiting from “what may charitably be called an inefficient distribution of market information”; and d.) compares law school applicants to “Gatsby’s revelers.” Well done.
