Just weeks after the official launch of Hogan Lovells, yet another transatlantic merger is on the horizon. Today, Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal and the UK-based Denton Wilde Sapte announced their upcoming merger. If approved at a partner vote scheduled for June 9, the new SNR Denton would have 1,400 lawyers in 18 countries.

The move would unite two firms of roughly equal size, wedding Sonnenschein’s 14 offices (the bulk of which are located in the US) to Dentons’ London base and extensive network of offices and alliances across Central Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
