Of course, we still continued to put out our daily roundups of the best jobs from Twitter and around the country, and did our best to keep up with our usual mission of attempting to find the bright spots--and some levity--in the economy right now. To that end, we brought you some light-hearted analysis on Tuesday of a report that found "employees are less likely to tell someone in a position in power that they're in for potential embarrassment." And, just this morning we brought news of free language lessons by the BBC, so you can keep your minds engaged and productive (and add some new skills to your resume) even as you go through the grind of finding a new form of gainful employment.
After a week like that, we're greeting the weekend with something of a mixed sentiment. Sure, we're a little relieved that the hectic pace is coming to an end, and that we'll be back to normal service next week, but who knows when we're going to get the opportunity to rub shoulders with some of the more important business, political and economic leaders of our day again? Regardless, we'll be right back here on Monday, ready to do it all again. Have a great weekend--we certainly plan to!
