Here's a recap of the past five days in the kingdom of Pink Slipped.

Monday we told you about two areas to hit up in your job search -- they're hiring! -- in "The Green and the Black," and explained to down-and-out Pink Slippers about the evils of music downloading in "Think Before You Click."On Tuesday we spotlighted Women For Hire in our"Job Search Resource of the Week."

On Wednesday, we nominated several tunes, each vying for the honor of being named"Theme song for the Recession." (Seeing as only one of them was released within the last three decades, we know you can do better: Won't you dazzle us with your sense of musical topicality by sending a comment our way?)Yesterday, we brought you a thrilling, India-based "Stump the Intern!".And earlier today we told you about openings at Morgan Stanley (financial advisor in Columbus, Ohio) and Trinity Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama (cardiovascular lab director) in Jobs in Your Area.

Have a great weekend! And get ready for next Friday -- that's when the BLS will release the latest round of unemployment info, with minor rejoicing or major hibernation to follow depending on the verdict…
