Panelists will include Jonathan A. Knee, senior managing director at investment bank Evercore Partners; Michael Curran, managing principal of consulting firm Towers Perrin; Roben Farzad, senior Wall Street writer for BusinessWeek; and Connie Thanasoulis-Cerrachio, co-founder of career coaching firm SixFigureStart and former COO for Merrill Lynch’s campus recruiting effort.
The panel will be focusing on the major issues facing commercial and investment banking firms today, covering the business outlook of the bulge bracket and boutiques, which areas of banking will be most active in terms of business and hiring in the coming years, and what salaries will look like given the prospects of increased regulation, among other topics.
It should be an incredibly interesting discussion, and, since I’m privy to the results of Vault’s Banking Survey, I can tell you that the rankings are equally as interesting, with a lot of movement in (and out of) the top 50.
