The folks over at GoingConcern have taken Vault's latest Accounting Rankings and created a rather cool NCAA Tournament-like competition to determine the Coolest Accounting Firm in America. GC's tournament is now down to its Final Four, and, like the NCAA Tournament this year, it has seen all of its top seeds (aka the Big 4) fall; what remains are some of the best mid-sizers in the country.

Both semifinal contests should be close ones: Seattle-based Moss Adams (ranked #8 in prestige in last year's Vault's rankings) is taking on Chicago-based Grant Thornton (perennially ranked #5 in Vault's prestige rankings), and new Jersey-based Rothstein Kass (which ranked #3 in Vault's Best to Work For ranking last year) is taking on Minnesota-headquartered McGladrey & Pullen (which was #7 in prestige).

All winners will be decided by readers' votes. So cast your votes here before Tuesday March 29th at 11:59 p.m. PST.
