I can say without reservation that what you're about to witness is among the worst pieces of corporate advertising you'll ever see.
Now that that's over with, I must admit—I feel (kind of) bad. I don't want to beat up the good people at Ernst & Young over a decade-old recruiting video, no matter how ridiculous. I don't want to shame their marketing department, no matter what an "epic fail" (YouTube comment, not my own) this turned out to be. And mostly, I don't want to hear from any EYers who think I'm biased against their firm—I'm not. But this just has to be seen.
So, sit tight for four-plus minutes of the most unintentionally hilarious yet simultaneously cringe-inducing recruiting video ever made. If I had been an EY recruit in 2001, I would have been personally offended by this effort.
So much more could be said about the content of this video, but I'm just going to let it do its own talking.
