I'm delighted to announce the launch of Vault's 2017 Top Consulting Rankings for Asia-Pacific—the most comprehensive look under the hood of consulting firms operating in the region that you'll find anywhere.

As with our recently-unveiled North America rankings (not to mention our soon-to-released European edition), these rankings are  based on our annual consulting survey, which this year attracted a record 17,000+ responses from verified, currently practicing consultants inside the leading firms in the industry. And they go much further than a simple listing of who the top firms are—in addition to our signature ranking that identifies the best firms to work for, we also offer rankings of the most prestigious firms, as well as 22 separate quality of life rankings (everything from compensation to work-life balance), and 11 practice area rankings.

But enough about those, for now (although you should definitely check them out by clicking the links). Here are the top 5 consulting firms to work for in Asia-Pacific:

  1. McKinsey & Co.
  2. Bain & Co.
  3. Strategy&
  4. A.T. Kearney
  5. Oliver Wyman

Check out the rest of the 2017 Vault Top Consulting Asia-Pacific ranking here.

As you'll know if you clicked any of those firm names, we don't just use our survey information to create rankings: we also use it to provide an in-depth look at every firm that participates in our survey. To create our firm profiles, we read every survey that comes in, and choose the most representative quotes to give you the most accurate snapshot we can of what it's really like to work at a given firm. And, while we do our best to ensure that respondents stay anonymous (they are practicing consultants, after all), I can assure you that every response we get—and every comment you read in the profiles—comes from someone who actually works inside the firm you're reading about.

With that, I'll leave you to explore the rankings and the firm profiles. Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions or feedback. You can find me on Twitter, or through the email contact form here.
