View a tribute to the departing Ted Snyder, the former dean of Booth, Darden, and future dean of Yale SOM. According to BW, over nearly a decade at Booth, Snyder, considered by many to be the most successful b-school dean of his generation, “doubled the number of endowed professorships, tripled scholarship assistance to students, oversaw Chicago’s move to a new Hyde Park campus, and doubled the endowment. And let’s not forget, it was under Snyder’s leadership that Chicago won a $300 million gift from alumnus David Booth and his family, the largest gift to any b-school in the world, ever.”
