Austin's a little weird. But Texas's capital likes it that way. The so-called "live music capital of the world" and home to the famed South by Southwest and Austin film festivals prides itself on ecclecticness.  An odd mix of residents--including state employees, hippies, students, artists, activists, politicians, blue collar workers, environmentalists, and a large LGBT community--makes for a wide ranging culture. So whether you love sports or theater, want to work for a Fortune 500 or are vying for a start-up gig, this city's got your number.
