Dear Sir or Madam:

Enclosed please find my resume, which I am sending via e-mail in response to your Vault.com advertisement for the position of Research Associate I. In the 15 years since the introduction of Ephodene, Happy Gene has proven that while it knows how to find success in the present, its greatest concern is the future. I want to contribute to that future.

I graduated from St. John's University in May 2003 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. My major was Chemical Engineering. As you will see from my resume, in addition to meeting the demands of a full-time academic schedule and achieving a 3.6 average by my graduation (including a 4.0 average in the last two years in my major), I have also accumulated two years of experience in commercial chemical research. This experience gave me the opportunity to work closely with a team of chemists and bioengineers.

My experience and enthusiasm, I believe, qualifies me for the position you are seeking to fill. I would like to visit Happy Gene so that I can further demonstrate what I can offer to the company. I look forward to the opportunity of meeting you. Thank you very much for your time and any consideration you may give me.

Sincerely,

Rob Seixas
