UW-Madison hires Huron Consulting Group for efficiency study
The project will be conducted by three to four Huron analysts, who will be paid $175 per hour, two associates at $225 per hour, two project managers at $227 per hour and a project director who will collect an hourly rate of $272 an hour, according to the Wisconsin State Journal.
University officials say they don't know how much they'll spend on the project yet, but that the contract drawn up with the consulting company gives them the flexibility to choose how many hours they'll purchase. Similar projects conducted for other universities have cost approximately $3 million, the news provider reports.
"Having a third-party consultant assess how the university’s administrative functions are organized will help UW–Madison ensure that it continues to be as effective and efficient as possible,” vice chancellor for administration Darrell Bazzell explained, according to UW-Madison News.
