Two organizations enter alliance to offer management consulting to New Jersey businesses
The NJTMA is an association of financial advisors, accountants, attorneys and other professionals that seek to strengthen the economy by boosting corporate value, whereas the NJSBDC is a non-profit that assists businesses at various growth stages. Under the alliance between the two entities, local businesses will be able to receive a pro bono evaluation of their management practices. Based on that evaluation, recommendations about operations and business plans will be made for the company.
"This strategic alliance between both our organizations with all of its intellectual capital and know-how will generate great growth potential for New Jersey firms," said Deborah Smarth, NJSBDC network chief operating officer (COO) and associate state director. "Business retention, expansion, and job generation are our guiding posts."
Charlie Snyder, NJTMA board member and managing partner of the Montare Finance Group, said he agreed that the alliance's main purpose would be to create corporate value for New Jersey businesses and in doing so keep and create jobs in the state.
