Rimkus Consulting opens new office in Ohio
Founded in 1983, Rimkus is a global provider of forensic consulting to the insurance, legal and private business industries, as well as to a number of government agencies.
Forensic engineering is the investigation of faulty materials and helps provide litigation support in product liability cases. The practice can also include the examination of intellectual property and patent claims.
Rimkus' central regional manager John Dufour said the expansion will help the company extend its services into the Ohio, Northeast Kentucky and Western Pennsylvania regions.
"It is important that we continue to expand into key markets to better serve our clients more cost effectively," Dufour noted. "The Columbus office provides a central location to serve our clients’ needs in the Ohio market while providing them with the quality and service Rimkus is known for."
Rimkus' Columbus expansion will be led by Steve Weber, who is a civil engineer with more than 15 years experience in the forensic investigative field. He has worked both as a consultant and an expert witness in the Ohio Valley area.
