Oel Wingo opens new management consulting firm in Florida
Oel Wingo Management will offer one-on-one consulting in organizational management, technology integration, change management strategies and human resources.
Wingo will serve as chief executive officer (CEO) of the new firm, which will provide services to non-profit and private sector companies.
"I have always been motivated as a teacher and a trainer. I love helping individuals, businesses and other organizations gain access to the tools and motivation they need to improve and operate more efficiently and more successfully," Wingo added. "My goal as a consultant is to meet the needs of all of my clients while providing adaptive services that make it possible to work with each organization's specific budget."
Wingo, who holds a doctor of philosophy degree from the University of Florida, has more than 25 years experience in government and education administration. She has also provided global training on a variety of industry topics and is an accomplished writer whose work has appeared in a number of scholarly journals.
Dr. Wingo is a member of the International City/County Management Association and the Local Government Innovations Group.
