Microsoft Dynamics AX picked by Aldila Inc as supply chain management platform
The California-based company, which makes high performance graphite gold shafts and arrow products, said it has been expanding to become a high profile supplier of graphite material for various industries including automotive and defense.
Aldila Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Peter Mathewson said that Microsoft Dynamics AX platform will provide manufacturing and business solutions across a number of departments and help improve the company's capabilities through Armanino Consulting.
"We needed a system that was intuitive and easy for our users to adopt. Microsoft Dynamics AX will provide a new technology foundation that will support the combined operations of our golf and composite materials businesses along with the future growth of our organization," Mathewson stated.
The company said that it will be looking to the business management consulting firm to help support its growing international operations, improve its manufacturing process and evaluate its digital information network.
Armanino is the largest accounting and consulting firm based in California. In 2009, it was ranked as the best accounting firm in the nation by Inside Public Accounting magazine.
