John Haggard named senior vice president of strategy for Insyndia

The global information technology consulting firm Insyndia has announced the appointment of John Haggard to its management team as senior vice president of strategy.

The Gig Harbor Washington-based company said that Haggard will head Insyndia's new strategy initiatives as the business looks to expand in the global market.

Haggard has more than 25 years experience in information security including the design, development and delivery of IT security products to the corporate, government and educational sectors. During the 1980s, he was instrumental in helping to develop the world's first user authorization method for computer security authentication beyond standard passwords.

Chief executive officer (CEO) Kevin Casey said Haggard breadth of experience will help the company expand its worldwide presence in the informational security field.


"He is a world-class entrepreneurial leader with a proven track record of success. Adeptly suited to spearhead the tremendous opportunities in the technology industry, John is a dynamic addition to our senior management team. We look forward to John’s contributions to Insyndia’s continued growth and development," Casey added.

Insyndia specializes in software development and design for network security with a focus on risk management practices.
