Intellipharmaceutics enlists consulting firm to help with drug commercialization
According to Dr. Isa Odidi, CEO and co-founder of Intellipharmaceutics, the company currently has four drugs undergoing Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval, and expects to apply for the approval of two more by the end of the year. For this reason, Doll Consulting principal Dave Doll will be crucial in helping with manage the company's advancing drug approval pipeline.
"I am very excited to be part of the impressive growth story that is emerging at Intellipharmaceutics," commented Doll, adding that the company is now in a good position to bring a few of its key commercialization initiatives to fruition.
Doll reportedly has more than 26 years of experience on the commercial side of the pharmaceutical industry. As executive vice president of commercial operations for Impax Laboratories between 2006 and 1008, he negotiated long-term agreements between his employer and a number of pharmaceutical companies, including Wyeth, TEVA, Purdue Pharma, Andrx Corporation and Schering Corporation.
