Innovative Computer Systems announces expansion

Farmington, Connecticut-based information technology and business consulting firm Innovative Computer Systems (ICS) has recently announced that it will be moving into larger office space, prompted by growth in demand for the company's services.

Nicholas J. Gentile, ICS's vice president of sales and marketing, said that his firm saw business expand by 30 percent in 2010 despite the state of the economy, the Hartford Business Journal reports. In particular, the firm says, its business intelligence and cloud computing services have been in demand. 

Due to this growth, ICS will now occupy 10,000 square feet of office space in Farmington. According to company president Steve Roux, the new space will also serve as a learning and data center for ICS clients.

The company also plans to expand its staff of 15 workers by as many as eight people in the coming months, according to the news source.

"This move really symbolizes Innovative Computer Systems' growth phase, where we build upon our solid foundation of clients and become an even more vital partner to the Northeast's business community," Roux said.
