Global Green Consulting Group acquired by CloudTP
GGCG's services will not be incorporated into CloudTP, with the sustainability consultancy's founder and president, Jim Lampert, becoming the executive vice president of sales and marketing for CloudTP, and as such will report directly to the information technology consulting company's chief executive officer and founder, Chris Greendale.
"CloudTP's sustainability-enhanced solutions will enable its customers to improve competitive positioning, lower capital and operating expenses, elevate brand value, comply with governmental regulation and meet corporate social responsibility (CSR) goals," Lampert said of the merger.
According to Jeff Hine, an analyst with Enterprise Strategy Group, the merger should allow the clients of both firms to "revolutionize the way they conduct business."
CloudTP provides cloud solutions for its clients, including management of transfer of all business processes to a private, public or hybrid cloud. The firm is based in Massachusetts, which according to the Boston Herald is quickly becoming a hub for the $50 billion industry of consumer and business-to-business cloud computing.
