Former advertising exec joins R3:JLB consulting

Chicago-based consulting firm R3:JLB has announced that former advertising agency executive Nina DiSesa has joined the company's New York office as a creative management consultant.

Prior to joining R3:JLB, DiSesa served as the chief creative officer at McCann and head of its New York office.

R3:JLB, formerly known as Jones Lundin Beals, was founded last year and is best known for its agency search consultancy division. Some of the company's major clients include Levis, Discover and Johnson & Johnson.

Chief executive officer (CEO) Dave Beals said the addition of DiSesa will help the company grow its creative consultancy services.

"In order to achieve R3:JLB's mission of helping our clients improve the value and productivity of their agency relationships, we have always wanted to offer a creative consulting component to our services," Beals noted. "But we needed a creative leader with a stellar reputation and one who is an unquestioned client advocate."

At McCann, DiSesa brought in more than $2.5 billion in new business to the New York office in the course of a three-year period. In 1999, she was named one of Fortune Magazine's 50 Most Powerful Women in American Business.
