Clare Computer Solutions announces CEO, COO appointments
Brad Mendonsa, who came to CCS in 2006 via a merger with Golden State Networks, will become the new chief executive officer (CEO) of CCS. In addition to providing crucial support to several of the cionsultancy's practices, the company says he was critical in changing the company culture from that of a "breakfix" firm to that of a sophisticated and proactive IT consulting company.
CCS President Ralph Lawhorn will now become the company's chief operating office (COO). Lawhorn has been an employee of CCs for 18 years, and he has been the company's president for the last six. As a former field technician, he is uniquely suited to manage the firm's day-to-day operations, according to CCS.
"We want to expand our role as a leader in IT consulting and proactive support services – and this team has the focus that will make this a reality," CCS' co-founder and board chairman Tony Barone said.
CCS spokesman Bruce Campbell told the San Francisco Business Times that the company's revenues were up approximately 18 percent last year, reaching roughly $5 million.
