Catapult Systems expands into energy sector
Recently acquired clients reportedly include Aramco, Berry Petroleum Company, Chevron, Five States Energy Company, HelioVolt, Hunt Consolidated, TECO Energy and Valero Energy. The firms using Catapult's IT consulting services range from petroleum exploration companies to clean energy producers, the consultancy says.
"Our customers are focused on delivering energy solutions that power our nation in the most efficient manner possible," said Sam Goodner, Catapult Systems chief executive officer (CEO). "By customizing and deploying the latest Microsoft-based solutions, we are helping them utilize technology to improve their operations, which ultimately improves the products they deliver."
Catapult says that its expertise in the energy sector includes technology that improves collaboration between green energy providers and allows for administrative automatic of fossil fuel production.
In January of this year, Catapult Systems was named the best medium-sized firm to work for in Texas by Texas Monthly Magazine.
