"Our research supports the conclusion that while the industry has fully accepted the concepts of virtualization, service oriented architectures (SOA) and utility computing - in other words cloud computing - the sheer number of choices, combined with confusion in regards to how all the pieces fit together, has hampered progress," he said. The company's founder and CEO, Chris Greendale, said that cloud computing is by far the most relevant information technology trend he has seen in his entire career, yet since it's still an emerging technology, businesses need help with implementing a firm-specific transfer to the cloud. According to Greendale, the new Boston-based firm will provide clients with this guidance.
