Aon Hewitt brings in 30th new investment client of the year
The global agency said that since announcing the investment offering in 2009, the company has brought in 63 delegated investment counseling clients with current total assets under advisement that exceed $17 billion.
The Illinois-based firm implements, designs and administers human capital, retirement, investment, healthcare and talent management strategies across a wide range of industries to help companies better understand and manage their pension plans.
Kemp Ross, head of the U.S. investment solutions division at Aon Hewitt, said that in its role as delegated investment consultant, the company is given the authority to make more decisions concerning pension plan investments.
"Our delegated investment services provide plan sponsors with a more efficient and effective way to manage their plans amidst an increasingly complex and highly volatile investment environment," Ross added. "We believe plan sponsors choose to partner with us because our solution reflects our actuarial, risk management and global investment management expertise provided through a single point of accountability."
Aon Hewitt currently employs more than 29,000 professionals in more than 90 countries.
