Altman Vilandrie & Co. names new principal

The business strategy consulting firm Altman Vilandrie & Co. has recently announced that it has hired Shruti Joshi to the position of principal.

Joshi is reportedly a communications and technology marketing expert that used to work as the executive director for consumer marketing for Verizon Communications before joining Altman Vilandrie & Co.

While at Verizon, her job consisted of optimizing a number of different media campaigns. She also reportedly has experience with consulting in product development. Prior to her time with Verizon, she acquired a B.S. in Business from the University of Southern California and got her MBA at Columbia Business School.

"A strong commitment to advanced analytics and proven track record delivering value for clients in targeted, complex sectors are what really drew me to Altman Vilandrie & Company," Joshi said.

Altman Vilandrie & Co. has reportedly made 20 new hires over the past year and it currently employs 60 in its Boston and New York offices. According to the company's website, nearly 90 percent of its clients rehire the consulting firm for additional work.
