Laura Walker Chung: Laura was formerly a partner in a boutique management consulting firm in Boston, where she specialized in marketing science applications for the life sciences industry. Previously, she gained consulting experience in a 500-person health care strategy boutique, a 100-person energy economics boutique and a 50,000-person generalist firm. She is also the author of The Vault Career Guide to the Energy Industry. Laura and Eric currently live in Portland, Oregon, where Laura is applying her consulting skills in the startup world. Laura is a 1995 summa cum laude graduate of Dartmouth College and a 2001 graduate of the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
Eric Chung: Having spent his childhood as a quant jock and later as a theoretical physics major in college, Eric is now applying his analytical skills to a career in consulting. Chung spent three years at Goldman Sachs, where he developed proprietary accounting and financial management systems for the firm. During business school, Eric was active in the management consulting group and was selected to teach a full-quarter class on leadership and communication skills to first-year students.
After spending a summer during business school interning at Accenture, he is currently a consultant with Strategic Decisions Group, a boutique firm specializing in decision making under uncertainty. He is also an active violinist, singer, songwriter, and director of a cappella singing groups. Chung is a graduate of Harvard College and the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
