Consumer Products Employers Rankings 2010: Vault Consumer Products 50
For the 2008 Vault Brand Professionals Survey, we selected a list of top consumer products firms based on their prominence in the industry and their interest to brand management, research and development, and marketing job seekers. Survey respondents were asked to do several things: rate each consumer products firm on the survey on a scale of 1 to 10 based on prestige, with 10 being the most prestigious. (Employees were unable to rate their own company.) They were asked to only rate companies with which they were familiar. Vault collected the survey results and tabulated and average score for each company. The company with the highest score was designated No. 1, and so forth, down to No. 50. We also asked survey respondents to give their perceptions of other companies besides their own. A selection of those comments is featured in each company profile as The Buzz. The rankings Vault's top 50 consumer products employers are chosen by practicing employees at top consumer products firms and measure perceived prestige based on the opinions of those industry professionals and do not reflect revenue, size or lifestyle. Vault does not order or influence the rankings.
