Tech Consulting Firm Rankings 2013: Best to Work For: Relationships With Supervisors
In addition to ranking other firms in terms of prestige, survey respondents were asked to rate their own firms in a variety of categories. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest and 1 the lowest, respondents evaluated their firms in the following quality of life areas:
- Overall satisfaction
- Firm culture
- Travel requirements
- Hours in the office
- Work/life balance
- Relationships with supervisors
- Interaction with clients
- Formal training
- Compensation
- Overall business outlook
A firm’s score in each category is simply the average of these rankings. In compiling our quality of life rankings, we only ranked firms from whose consultants we received five or more responses for a particular question. Only consulting firms that distributed the Vault survey to their consultants were ranked.
