Asia: Consulting Firms Rankings 2012: Best to Work For: Diversity for Women

Which are the best firms to work for? For some, this is a far more important consideration than prestige. To determine our Best 10 firms, we analyzed our initial list of 44 firms using a formula that weighted the most relevant categories for an overall quality of life ranking. Each firm’s overall score was calculated using the following formula:

  • percent overall satisfaction
  • 15 percent compensation
  • 15 percent work/life balance
  • 10 percent hours in the office
  • 10 percent travel requirements
  • 5 percent overall business outlook
  • 5 percent formal training
  • 5 percent interaction with clients
  • 5 percent relationships with supervisors
  • 5 percent firm culture
  • 5 percent diversity for women

Like our Top 25 rankings, our Best 10 is meant to reflect the subjective opinion of consultants. By its nature, the list is based on the perceptions of insiders—some of whom may be biased in favor (or against) their firm.
